Kartell
Multi-site electrical installation programme across manufacturing and distribution facilities — production line power infrastructure and distribution board upgrades
Scope of Works
Pro Energise delivered electrical installation works across Kartell's manufacturing and distribution facilities. The programme included power infrastructure upgrades, distribution board replacements, new circuit installations for production equipment, and compliance remedial works identified during periodic inspections.
Works were phased to maintain production continuity, with weekend and out-of-hours installation windows agreed with site management. The programme was delivered on schedule with zero production downtime.
What This Project Demonstrates
- Multi-site manufacturing delivery — works across manufacturing and distribution facilities
- Delivered on programme — works completed to agreed schedule across all facilities
- Low defect rate — minimal post-completion remediation required
- Zero production downtime — not a single day of production lost
- Out-of-hours and weekend working — installation windows agreed around production schedules
- Production equipment circuits — new dedicated circuits for manufacturing equipment
- Compliance integration — remedial works from periodic inspections addressed within the same programme
- £100k–£250k programme — mid-market delivery with quantified performance metrics
Delivery Outcomes
Programme Compliance
Delivered on schedule across all facilities
Defect Rate
Minimal post-completion remediation required
Production Impact
Zero days of production downtime
Working Pattern
Weekend and out-of-hours installation windows
Compliance
Remedial works from periodic inspections completed
Scope
Power upgrades, DB replacements, production circuits, compliance remedials
Services Delivered
Power infrastructure upgrades, distribution board replacements, and new dedicated circuit installations for production equipment across manufacturing and distribution facilities.
Remedial works addressing findings from periodic electrical inspections. Compliance items integrated into the main installation programme rather than managed as a separate workstream.
Reinstatement of production and distribution areas following electrical works. Areas returned to operational condition without impacting production flow.
Delivery Controls Applied
This project was delivered under Pro Energise's structured commercial delivery framework, including:
- Phased delivery programme agreed with site management to maintain production continuity
- Weekend and out-of-hours installation windows for works requiring production shutdowns
- Programme tracked through Contracts OS and delivered on schedule across all milestones
- Quality monitoring with minimal defects across the programme
- Digital QA evidence capture at each phase with photographic records
- Full commissioning, test certification, and documentation handover
Project delivery tracked through our Contracts OS management platform.
From 2026, all commercial projects are formally tracked against defined KPI measures.
Environment & Sector Context
Manufacturing environments demand zero unplanned downtime. Every hour of lost production has a direct financial impact. Electrical works must be planned around production schedules, with shutdowns limited to agreed maintenance windows. The contractor must understand the production flow well enough to sequence works without creating bottlenecks.
Kartell's facilities combine manufacturing (with dedicated production equipment circuits) and distribution (with warehouse lighting and loading infrastructure). The electrical scope spans both environments, requiring different approaches: precision circuit work in production areas and broader infrastructure work in distribution spaces.
