Industrial & Logistics
Industrial & Logistics — Electrical Installation and Power Infrastructure for Industrial Sites
What This Sector Demands
Industrial and logistics environments present electrical challenges that require specialist capability: 3-phase power systems, high-current installations, live warehouse environments, and the need to maintain operational continuity during works.
For projects requiring increased power capacity, we coordinate DNO applications and manage the complete LV infrastructure from the DNO point of supply — including sub-main distribution, distribution board installations, and cable infrastructure. We manage the DNO interface throughout the application and connection process, ensuring your LV installation is ready for energisation when the DNO completes their works.
These are not projects for contractors accustomed to standard commercial electrical works.
Our ECS Gold Card qualified electricians deliver across industrial environments with site-specific risk assessments and method statements for each facility. Specialist access certifications including IPAF and confined space training are arranged on a project-specific basis where required.
For works requiring production shutdown, we coordinate planned outages with your operations team to maximise productivity within minimum downtime windows. Pre-shutdown preparation ensures materials, tools, and personnel are staged before the outage begins. Sequenced isolation and phased re-energisation allow partial operations to resume as sections are completed. Post-energisation testing and commissioning are completed before handover, with full documentation provided within 48 hours.
Our industrial delivery methodology includes formal permit to work systems, isolation procedures with Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) protocols, and site-specific risk assessments for every live operational environment. Where required, we work within the client's existing safety management systems and permit-to-work procedures — as demonstrated on the Vattenfall programme.
Manufacturing
Production-critical power infrastructure where downtime has direct revenue impact. We plan electrical works around production schedules, delivering within planned shutdown windows and phasing energisation to maintain partial operations where possible.
Distribution & Logistics
Warehouse environments with high-bay lighting, loading dock power, and large floor areas requiring efficient cable routing. Works planned around operational shifts to minimise disruption to goods movement.
Heavy Industrial
High-current installations and complex cable management within existing infrastructure. Site-specific risk assessments, permit to work systems, and coordination with on-site engineering teams.
Periodic inspection and testing for industrial facilities under BS 7671 and the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. Structured EICR programmes coordinated around operational schedules.
Emergency lighting installation, testing, and maintenance for industrial buildings including high-bay environments and warehouse escape routes. BS 5266 compliant.
As a registered SME contractor, Pro Energise offers the technical capability of larger contractors with the responsiveness and direct accountability that industrial operations managers value.
