Commercial EICR & Electrical Testing Services
Structured EICR programmes with digital reporting, 48-hour handover packs, and auditable compliance records.
What This Service Covers
Our testing and inspection service delivers full Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), periodic inspection and testing, and targeted fault finding across commercial, public sector, and industrial estates. All work is carried out to BS 7671 (18th Edition) and in compliance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.
We operate structured testing programmes for multi-site portfolios, providing centralised scheduling, consistent reporting standards, and digital handover packs within 48 hours of completion. Every report is reviewed by a qualified Approved Electrician before issue.
Our testing scope includes five-yearly periodic inspections, pre-acquisition condition surveys, post-remedial verification testing, emergency fault diagnosis, and thermal imaging surveys. For multi-let commercial buildings, we coordinate access schedules with tenants and managing agents to minimise disruption.
All findings are categorised using the standard C1/C2/C3/FI coding system, with remedial recommendations prioritised by risk. We provide clear, actionable reports — not generic templates — enabling estates teams and managing agents to plan remedial budgets with confidence.
When a C1 (danger present) classification is identified, our protocol requires immediate isolation of the affected circuit, same-day client notification, and mobilisation of remedial works within 24 hours. C1 findings are escalated directly to the contract manager and tracked through to resolution in Contracts OS.
When testing identifies C1 (danger present) or C2 (potentially dangerous) findings, our team can mobilise remedial works immediately without requiring a separate procurement cycle. This end-to-end capability — test, report, remediate, re-test, and certify — reduces programme timelines and eliminates the gap between identification and resolution.
All testing is carried out by ECS Gold Card qualified, directly employed electricians with current BS 7671 certification. Competency is verified before every deployment — not assumed. Our employed workforce model means consistent quality standards and accountability across every site in a multi-site programme.
