Vattenfall
Large-scale power infrastructure programme across multiple energy sector operational sites — 3-phase distribution, cable routing through active facilities, and making good under single contract
Scope of Works
Pro Energise delivered a large-scale electrical installation programme for Vattenfall, one of Europe's largest energy companies. The scope covered power infrastructure installation across multiple operational sites, including 3-phase power systems, cable routing and containment, distribution board installations, and supporting civil and making good works.
The programme required close coordination with Vattenfall's engineering teams and strict adherence to their safety management systems. All works were delivered across live operational environments with zero lost-time incidents.
What This Project Demonstrates
- Multi-site programme management — coordinated delivery across multiple operational sites under a single programme
- Live environment delivery — works completed in occupied, operational facilities without disruption to Vattenfall's operations
- Zero lost-time H&S performance — no reportable incidents across the full programme
- Client system integration — operatives worked within Vattenfall's safety management systems and permit-to-work procedures
- Full compliance documentation — as-built records, test certificates, and commissioning documentation provided per site
- Electrical and making good under one contract — single point of accountability for power infrastructure and civil reinstatement
- £250k–£500k value band — within Pro Energise's core delivery range with structured programme controls

Services Delivered
3-phase power systems, cable routing and containment, distribution board installations. Full power infrastructure across multiple operational sites, commissioned to BS 7671 with test certificates per circuit.
Supporting civil works and reinstatement following electrical installation. Delivered under the same contract as the primary electrical works — single point of accountability.
Commissioning and verification testing on all installed systems. Full compliance documentation and as-built records provided per site.
Delivery Controls Applied
This project was delivered under Pro Energise's structured commercial delivery framework, including:
- Pre-start mobilisation planning across multiple Vattenfall operational sites, including site-specific risk assessments and method statements
- Programme milestones agreed with Vattenfall's engineering team and tracked through Contracts OS
- Digital QA evidence capture at each installation phase, uploaded to Contracts OS for programme-level visibility
- Operatives inducted into Vattenfall's safety management systems and permit-to-work procedures
- Formal commissioning and documentation handover per site, including test certificates and as-built records
- Post-installation defect resolution protocol with prioritised response timescales
Project delivery tracked through our Contracts OS management platform.
From 2026, all commercial projects are formally tracked against defined KPI measures.
Environment & Sector Context
This programme was delivered within live energy infrastructure environments. Vattenfall operates critical energy generation and distribution assets across Europe. Electrical works within these facilities require strict adherence to the client's safety management systems, formal permit-to-work procedures, and coordination with ongoing operational activities.
The industrial environment demanded operatives with experience in 3-phase power systems, high-current installations, and cable management within existing infrastructure. All works were planned to avoid disruption to Vattenfall's operational schedules.
